The Local Authority have asked that we share this information with parents accessing critical worker childcare as a matter of urgency.
There is serious concern that high numbers of children accessing critical worker childcare will impact negatively on the effectiveness of the lockdown.
We also need to respectfully remind parents that regulations state “If one parent is a critical worker, they should be able to access a school or childcare place. However, where one parent is a critical worker and the other parent is not, then the other parent should provide safe alternative arrangements at home where possible.”
Thank you for your co-operation and support in only accessing childcare when you have no other options.
