Urdd Eisteddfod

The local ‘cylch’ Urdd Eisteddfod is scheduled for this Saturday, March 23rd,  at Ysgol Bro Alun. We now have details of timings for preliminary rounds and staged competitions. Reception First Riddle

Any Reception children who entered the ‘First Riddle’ competition must have parental consent given to publish their riddle. Online permission by Friday 22nd March or permission form given to Miss Jones by Wednesday 20th March.

Welsh Speaker of the Week Awards

Congratulations- Llongyfarchiadau, to our ‘Welsh Speakers of the Week’ who were presented with certificates in last Friday’s assembly. Who will be our ‘Cymro neu Cymraes y Wythnos’ this week? Our patrwm yr wythnos- phrase of the week is ‘esgusodwch fi!’ which means excuse me!

Our Learning Powers

This week’s learning power is to have a go. Children will be introduced to the character ‘Have a Go Hero’, who joins ‘Captain Concentration’, ‘Corporal Curious’ and  ‘Private Perseverance’, in our classrooms.
