Year 6: ‘Growing Up’ talk

The time limits within the phased return mean that it will not be possible for us to deliver our usual ‘growing up’ talk to our year 6 children.

However,  we have collated a range of information which you may find useful. See below.

We have also shared this information with our high schools so that they are aware that their Personal and Social Education lessons might need to adjusted accordingly.

As part of Wrexham Council’s campaign against period poverty, schools receive sanitary products to be distributed to their girls. We will do this over the next few days and in the course of this I will speak informally to the girls about periods.

If you do not want your daughter to receive any sanitary products please let me know.

Many thanks.

Mrs Pritchard.
